Introduction

This page renders information that constitutes the very heart of the ssiFX Real-Time Systems, Inc. currency forecasting system.

It employs a presentation layout and format of currency pairs' forecasts within a given currency set (real or conceptual) panel, whereby the currency set symbol forms either the base or the secondary currency of the forecasted currency pairs. This presentation layout and format is copyrighted intellectual property registered to ssiFX Real-Time Systems, Inc.

Furthermore, it incorporates a unique and exclusive technique of generating currency forecasts as a function of conceptual global (incorporating the majors, exotics, and financial/non-financial commodities) currencies. This unique and exclusive technique is patent-pending property registered to ssiFX Real-Time Systems, Inc.

The material presented herein details the rows and columns of currency sets' panels. Users must navigate to the Main Menu sub-heading titled Strategies/Techniques for guidance on how to use the currency set panels to trade ssiFX forecasted currency pairs. Currency Set Panel

A currency set panel is a grid presentation of ssiFX forecasts of currency pairs belonging to a currency set, whereby the currency set symbol forms either the base or secondary currency of the forecasted currency pairs. Refer toTrading with ssiFX >> ssiFX Forecasting System fot a formal definition of ssiFX Currency Sets and Panels.

 

Currency Set Panel Rows

Each row of a currency set panel displays a color-coded numeric forecast for a specific currency pair (belonging to that currency set). The percentage flow of fundamental economic data used by the ssiFX system to generate the forecast along with its computational integrity of the ssiFX forecasting engines are also displayed.

 

Currency Set Panel Columns

Each column of a currency set panel displays a color-coded numeric forecast of a specific system-generated indicator (for that currency set). The columns are organized by column groups and column (specific and generic) types which represent the factors constituting a forecast.  Column display widths are directly customizable, or indirectly via the navigation-bar Display Styles option.

Basic Info Super-Group

Set Info (member group of the Basic Info super-group)

This column group specifies a currency pair symbol, the system computed current market fair bid and ask price. Note that your broker's quote may vary slightly.

Note that broker quotes which fall fully outside (bid and ask) of the system quote tend to converge towards the system quote. Refer to Trading with ssiFX >> ssiFX Navigation >> Main Menu Page >> Strategies/Techniques for trading techniques which may be used to exploit this phenomenon.

 

Trade Management Super-Group

Call Power (member group of the Trade Management super-group)

This column group specifies the system forecast call power associated with a particular currency pair. These consist of cPips, cDuration, %cMCycles, %cGModes, %caMode. See Column Specific Types below for detailed information relating to each of these column types.

 

iPower Trade Cntrls (member group of the Trade Management super-group)

This column group specifies a currency pair internally-driven factors system-generated trade entry/exit points.  These consists of iTStop, iTTrgt, iTDuration, Conservative, Aggressive, and Super-aggressive iT~EE (pip measured entry/exit triggers), and the associated iT~ECnt (exit trigger counts). See Column Specific Types below for detailed information relating to each of these column types.

 

xPowerTrade Cntrls (member group of the Trade Management super-group)

This column group specifies a currency pair externally-driven factors system-generated  trade entry/exit points. These consists of xTStop, xTTrgt, xTDuration, Conservative, and Aggressive xT~EE (pip % entry/exit triggers), and the associated xT~ECnt (exit trigger counts) column factors. This column group specifies the generic forecast risk associated with a particular currency pair. These consist consist of %CSX-, %CSX+, %GCA-, %GCA+, %GCB-, and%GCB+. See Column Generic Types below for detailed information relating to each of these column types.

These column groups specify complex mathematical derivative functions of virtual market flows (buy, sell or contingent transactions) associated with a particular currency pair.

 

Major Markets Super-Group

Global Flows (member group of the Major Markets super-group)

This column group specify complex mathematical derivative functions of global market flows (buy, sell or contingent transactions) associated with a particular currency pair.

 

Interbank-A, -B, -C Flows (member groups of the Major Markets super-group)

These column groups specify complex mathematical derivative functions of interbank flows (buy, sell or contingent transactions) associated with a particular currency pair.

 

Hedge (Funds)-A, -B, -C Flows (member groups of the Major Markets super-group)

These column groups specify complex mathematical derivative functions of hedge funds' flows (buy, sell or contingent transactions) associated with a particular currency pair.

 

Bond (Funds)-A, -B, -C Flows (member groups of the Major Markets super-group)

These column groups specify complex mathematical derivative functions of bond funds' flows (buy, sell or contingent transactions) associated with a particular currency pair.

These column groups specify complex mathematical derivative functions of central banks' flows (buy, sell or contingent transactions) associated with a particular currency pair.

 

System Monitors Super-Group

System State (member group of the System Monitors super-group)

This column group specifies ssiFX system state information associated with a particular currency pair. These consist of the percentage flow of fundamental economic data used by the system and the computational integrity of the ssiFX system forecast.

 

Network States (member group of the System Monitors super-group)

This non-columnar group at the top left-hand corner (LHC) of the screen monitors the ssiFX system network (client, distributors, controllers, engines, and data feeds) connectivity states.

 

 

Column Specific Types (all column types are color-coded and signed in the direction their respective current forecast. Zero indicates an indeterminate or neutral forecast)

Call Power Group

cPips (member type of the Call Power group)

This value is the net pip change since the system made a definitive (up or down) system forecast call (see Glossary) for a currency pair.

This value is reset to zero when a forecast call is made.

 

cDuration (member type of the Call Power group)

This is the number of seconds since the system made a definitive (up or down) system forecast call for a currency pair. This value is incremented (decremented) throughout the duration a of a forecast call.

 

cCycles(member type of the Call Power group)

This is the number of system computational cycles triggered by the impact of market data flow since the system made a definitive (up or down) system forecast call for a currency pair. This value is incremented (decremented) on each computational cycle throughout the duration a forecast call.

This value is not displayed.

 

cMode(member type of the Call Power group)

This value is incremented (decremented) on each computational cycle if it is in the same direction as the Call Modes %caMode.

If the Call Modes %caMode assumes a direction that is different from the direction of the cMode, the cMode is reset to zero.

cCycles versus cMode… Note that the cCycles is incremented on each system (computational) cycle in the direction of the cMode whereas the cMode is incremented in the direction of the %caMode, and hence by implication, only when the %caMode is active. Thus the cCycles value indicates the number of system (computational) cycles since the cMode assumes a direction whereas the cMode value indicates the speed and direction of the cCycles.

%cMCycles (member type of the Call Power group)

This is the value of the cMode expressed as a percentage of the cCycles.

 

%cGMode (member type of the Call Power group)

This is the percentage of active generic mode factors.

 

%caMode (member type of the Call Power group)

This is the percentage of active core mode factors. A Call Modes %caMode active state for a currency pair are determined by the s-CoreX, s-CoreY, f-CoreA, and f-CoreB group modes.

 

iPower Trade Cntrls

iTStop (member type of the iPower Trade Cntrls group)

This value is the system-generated stop-loss price for the current iPower trade call (See Glossary).

 

iTTrgt (member type of the iPower Trade Cntrls group)

This value is the absolute maximum cPips (iPower cPips iPX) attained during current iPower trade call.

 

iTDuration (member type of the iPower Trade Cntrls group)

This value is the duration (seconds) of the current iPower trade call.

 

iTC(onservative)E(ntry)E(xit), iTA(ggresive)EE, iTS(uper-aggresive)EE (member types of the iPower Trade Cntrls group)

This value indicates the current iPower trade E(ntry)E(xit) point when the sign matches/contras the current iPower trade call. The value ratchets-up/ratchets-down in the direction of the iPower trade call as cPips are gained/lost. The C(onservative) and A(aggresive) exit points are essentially trailing stops in that they are designed to lock in profits.

 

iTC(onservative)E(xit)Cnt, iTA(ggresive)ECnt, iTS(uper-aggresive)ECnt (member types of the iPower Trade Cntrls group)

This value monitors the number of times that an E(xit) has been triggered. Volatile market conditions are indicated when this count is non-zero. Note that this value will be reset to zero whenever the iTSEE valueexceeds the iTTrgt value during the current iPower trade call.

 

xPower Trade Cntrls

xTStop (member type of the xPower Trade Cntrls group)

This value is the system-generated stop-loss price for the current xPower trade call (See Glossary).

This value is the current CSX xPower xPips theoretically attainable due to externally-driven factors. It is color-coded based on whether it is consistent, inconsistent, or indeterminate, with the current xPower trade call.

 

%xPA (member type of the xPower xPips group)

This value is the current GCA xPower xPips theoretically attainable due to externally-driven factors. Reports lesser of currency pair symbols' GCA xPXs. It is color-coded based on whether it is consistent, inconsistent, or indeterminate, with the current xPower trade call.

 

%xPB (member type of the xPower xPips group)

This value is the current GCB xPower xPips theoretically attainable due to externally-driven factors. Reports lesser of currency pair symbols' GCB xPXs. It is color-coded based on whether it is consistent, inconsistent, or indeterminate, with the current xPower trade call.

 

xPower xPRates Group

xPRX, %xPRA, %xPRB (member types of the xPower xPRates group)

These values are the computed rates of the associated xPX, %xPA, and %xPB values.

This value is the current CSX iPower groups' charcteristics due to internally-driven factors. It is color-coded based on whether it is consistent, inconsistent, or indeterminate, with the current iPower trade call.

System State Group

Flow (percentage)

This value is the percentage real-time flows of economic data used by the system to generate a forecasts for currency pair/set.

 

Integrity (true, false)

This value is the system's computational integrity of a currency pair/set forecast. It is rendered as a boolean (true, false) value.

 

Network States Group

fxGlobe

A spinning globe indicates that the client browser is connected to the internet.

 

fxNet (top left-hand corner)

This is a color-coded indicator of the ssiFX network connectivity status.

Solid Green - connection to the ssiFX network is good

Solid Red - connectiion to the ssiFX network is lost and/or non-existent

Flashing Amber - connection to the ssiFX network is intermittent. Indicative of network latency ( i.e slow network transmission rates)

 

fxEngines (top left-hand corner)

This is a color-coded indicator of the ssiFX computational engines connectivity and integrity statii.

Solid Green - connection to the ssiFX computational engines is good and computational integrity is good

Solid Red - connection to the ssiFX computational engines is lost and/or non-existent

Flashing Amber - connection to the ssiFX computational engines is intermittent. Indicative of network latency ( i.e slow network transmission rates)

Flashing Red - computational engines have lost integrity

 

Column Generic Types (all column types are color-coded and signed in the direction their respective current forecast. Zero indicates an indeterminate or neutral forecast)

%CSX-, %CSX+, %GCA-, %GCA+, %GCB-, %GCB+

These values monitor the percentage of the respective panel +ve and -ve displayed factors. Note that these factors do not necessarily add up to one-hundred percent. These values should be interpreted as a general indication of the state of a particular currency pair/set forecast.

 

f-aMode

This value is a fast analysis of the %aMode for a given factor. Fast analyses are based on more sensitive forecast indicators

 

f-vMode

This value is a fast analysis of the vMode. Fast analyses are based on more sensitive forecast indicators

 

%aMode

This value is the active mode for a given factor

 

vMode

This value is the mode for a given factor. It is calculated similar to the cMode.

 

~vX0, ~vX1

This value is a complex absolute or percentage forecast indicator

  

vNet

This value is a vector function of the vX0, vX1 indicators, or the respective percentage equivalents. It is the functional equivalent of vMode acting on the vX~ indicators.
